Superb location: Metro station right outside the hotel gate and Prado Museum within 15 min walking distance Fancy breakfast:The cafeteria open late into almost noon that day. There’s also a great range of food to choose from even at that time. The kind of flexible timetable of breakfast really consider for people who sleep late like me Well-trained staff: What impressed most me is the young door boy that day who even informed us how to unlock the AC. I have to admit I had been bothered by the locked AC many times before at other hotels but no one ever mentioned it before. The staff at front desk were also very obliging and offered to store the luggage for us. Staff at cafeteria asked first before they took down all the meal on offer at breakfast. Other hotels may also manage to do some of the points above but Hotel Regina is the first to satisfy all the requirements I have even before I put forward them. It’s these small gesture set it apart I guess it undergo an updating recently for the well-lit rooms with modern facilities and decorations. I think the sound proof of the room is quite Ok for me and my family. I am noise sensitive wearing earplugs every night and I had sound sleep at hotel.

The room furnishings and bathroom fixtures were stylish, modern and comfortable. Really appreciated the push button window shutters that blocked out the light & noise so we could sleep in some mornings. Everything was super clean and staff was always accommodating. One night when it was raining, they had umbrellas for guests to borrow which was so helpful. Breakfast which was included in our stay was delicious with a variety of offerings. Everything was fresh and we loved the espresso and mimosas. We also ate at the restaurant twice and everything we ordered was good. One of the nights they even had the Real Madrid v. Man City game on for the diners at the restaurant and it was really fun! And the location was perfect! Just steps from the Metro (easy to do day trips to Toledo, Segovia & Valencia) restaurants & shops. So convenient and minutes away from Puerta de Sol. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

The room has great air conditioning, the windows are sound proof and has electric shutters and black out curtains, these things helped in making sure we got a good night sleep. Staff were amazing and went beyond expectations. Housekeeping treated my son's stuffed animal with due respect. Lucrezia at Reception was amazing and helped me with hair and makeup booking as I had a wedding to attend the next day. She called a couple of places I suggested and suggested other options that worked for me. Everyone were helpful and friendly and always greeted us with big smiles.

The staff, especially mario & Marta they were very helpful, contentious. Everybody at the Regina helps keep a tight ship from cleaning staff to breakfast room. They are all very friendly. The rooms are very modern with comfortable beds. The bathroom has everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The location of hotel is perfect for exploring Madrid on foot.

The property was located at a prime, central location. The staff, reception to housekeeping to the cafe were all customer-centric and made us feel at home during our stay. Our room had a balcony which gave us a good view of a stretch of Calle de Alcala. Fabulous hotel! Highly recommended!
